    Resolved bios update help[resolved]

    Can somebody tell me how should I update my bios?I have already downloaded the update,I have rom files and an exe.I have amibios.What should I do?Thank You!

    I've done it once. Try to back up your current bios in case a problem happens, and you need to go back. Set up your diskette following the directions below, reboot, flash the bios, and re-boot. Don't interrupt it while it is flashing!



    Make a bootable diskette.

    Unzip the AMI utility and copy it (the flash program) and the *.rom file to the disk you made.

    Make sure that the BIOS of the computer you intend to upgrade is set for: 1st Boot Device --- Floppy.

    Put the disk into the drive and reboot. Follow the directions.

    It should auto boot off the disk if you set the computer to check the floppy drive before the hard disk. Boot up priorities
