I have a question about playing live video from WebCam pluged in 'S-Video In' port on my graphic card (NVidia Riva TNT 2 Ultra). I start with Picture Box (352x240 pixels; because 'Asus Live'-program which comes with graphic card shows video in that size, but I have to make easier program with few options, that 'Asus Live' can't do). I'm working using API (mciSendString)... I already made programs like this, to open and show avi files (type AviVideo or MPEGVideo) Picture Box and many other operations with them, but never with live video (there is no saved file).
I don't know what type to use and how to open (show live video, because there is nothing to be opened !?). If somebody knows how to play live video from WebCam (small 'egg with one eye') pluged in S-Video In port, in Picture Box on the Form in VB (probablly by using several mciSendString API calls), it will be a huge help for me. It means that I need to show everything what moves in front of camera in Picture Box. Thanks a lot (even if you don't know how to help me) for reading this...
