Thread: overwriting a COM+ DLL

    Hi simple question...after you install a component in a C0M+ Application how do you overwrite the dll when you have a new version...i have tried closing all the applications that use the component and even deleted the component from the COM+ Application..but im getting a permission denied error (same error you get when you try to compile a regular dll that is referenced by an open application). Thanks in advance.

    If you're running NT, you have to use the Universal Standard Microsoft solution: reboot.
