I was just wondering if the CLSID's in the registry for various Windows Special Locations were uniform on all Windows versions and machines.
ie: HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E} is the CLSID and location in the registry for the Recycle Bin.
I want to use these ID's to extract the assosiated icons from Shell32.dll. But want to make sure that that CLSID is the same on all machines.

I searched in my registry (win98 SE) for that CLSID and I came up with the recycle bin as well....
