New to report...plz help

hi everyone

I am trying crystal reports in asp.net for the first time and couldnt make it work...can anyone plz tell:

1) how does reportsource work;
2) at times the 'Field View' button in ttolbar gets disabled...making it impossible to add fields from DB to report...why does this happen

or better...if u may suggest a good forum for .net crystel reports
