VBF performance ... once again ...
This is going on since the upgrade - every single day forums might not be accesible and that could last for a minute or few or like today for about 15-30 minutes. It doesn't happend at the same time frame and always while perfect Internet connection and speed. It may take like 2 minutes to load the page or it will error "page not found ..." or something. Strange enough, if you do manage to load start page and click on the direct link to any of the most recent threads then it might take you there while clicking on any particular forum link will freeze ...
Last 20-30 minutes or so was the time frame for today. Can anyone from VBF tell me why.
Thanks.

Re: VBF performance ... once again ...
All I can say is that I've been working the last hour or so and have had no problems and I've not experienced what you are describing at any time.

Hmm, strange. And we have no network outage of any kind here what so ever.
Thanks.

AND That Microsoft Live Communications Server 2005 Add seems to be dragging the New Reply window quite a bit.

Re: VBF performance ... once again ...
You have to do the old minimize/maximize trick to have the window display faster than if you just sit there and wait.

Re: VBF performance ... once again ...
I agree that there are no known issues on the server side. If things do start to drag, then do note which ads are displaying and do a refresh to see if it speeds up (and if a different ad displays). Ad code is external to VBForums, so if it is causing the problem, then (1) multiple people should be noticing it, and (2) We can talk to the people who created the ad to see what it is doing.
Brad!
