Protected exe

I have made an app,and now I want to put my exe in a proctected folder.
How do I protect a folder of delete or update actions.??
Which is the usual place for an exe file if you want to protect it??

Any advice will be greatly apreciatted

If you are using windows nt, you can use the ntfs security, otherwise you can't do much more then flagging the exe read only.

I am workin oon a project that is supposed to protect a folder but Its not really workin very well, that an understatement, all I've worked out how to do is check if the folder is open and then slam shut again. if anyone can give me any help please email me at: [email protected]
