How to Print a Database Field on Two or More Columns

    Dear Friends:

Would some one like to help me, I am using Crystal Report 9.2, The problem is that I have a wide page approx 15" width. I have only three database fields i.e. Type, PNo, Amount to print on that. I want If Type changes, the three colums start printing on next column of the page. As I estimate the page can accommodate 15 Fields, means three portion can be printed but how can I do that. please help...

You can go to format section and choose detail. And give a cek in the checkbox "format with multiple column"

Find "format section" by going to the report then right click the detail bar on the report. Go to format sections > on the common tab > check "format with multiple columns".

    Hi
It's similar to what I want to do. I have 3 fields: Channel, Value and Date. Whenever 'Channel' change, I like to start a new column on the same page. I create group using channel and then go to format section --> click format with multiple columns. But it doesn't work. Why?

My report will be something like below. All the data will show on one page without any page break. Can I do that? Pls help. Thanks a lot.

Channel value date channel value date channel value date channel value..
    63 1.2 5-11
    63 1.1 6-11
    63 1.0 6-11
