System clock too fast

This is an odd thing that ive never come across before.

My system clock seems to be too fast. I Sync my clock with time.nist.gov and 1 day later my clock is almost 11minutes too fast.

Any thoughts or suggestions other than d/ling a utility to sync my clock more often?

Faulty timer circuit

Ensure the battery installed for the Motherboard is the correct voltage

Check its not software changing it like a virus or spyware sync up with a different server
