Wireless router
We currently have a standard asdl modem which also acts as a router.
As I want to keep this original modem\router can I just plug a wireless router into the standard router to enable wireless access. I was thinking of this on
Router
Hope this makes sense.

Yes, this will work, but I prefer Linksys, which are made by Cisco, the big router people. US Robotics are known for their old modems. Didn't know that they were still in business.
I have a 4-port wireless router plugged into my adsl router. Make sure that the router that you get will log in using PPoE protocol.
