    GIF89.dll in Excel VBA

    People ,

    Simple question:

I have registered GIF89. Can I use this dll within Excel VBA to show animated gif's??

    And if so, how??

    thanks.

Resolved Re: GIF89.dll in Excel VBA [SOLVED]

This is either too dificult a problem or too trivial to even consider.

Or maybe I should be more clear about want I want, well, here goes:

I've built a program in Excel to keep scores in a biljarts tournament. This tournament is sponsored by a number of people and I would like to be able to present these sponsors with animated gif files within an Excel sheet as opposed to only static gif's or bitmaps.
I've found out so far that I need the GIF89.dll wich I have downloaded an referenced within Excel. What I'm looking for is how to get Excel to show the animated gif.

Do I need a picture box or web functionality or both. I know this can be done within an Access form but can it be done in an Excel sheet.

If you think it can't be done I'd be happy to hear that too.

    Thanks for your effort.
