I have a tic tac toe game code I downloaded, Is there any way I can change color, border size etc. Also when I download the file I got three different file formats in the folder(.frm, .vbw & .vbp)....I would like to know how I can edit the code using Visual Basic editor in Excel...I tried copying & pasting the code in VB editor but this is not working...please help.

The vbp file is the VB project file that tells Vb where all the parts are and so you don't need it. The vbw file is a record of how your forms are laid out in the IDe so you don't need that either. So the only code you might be able to use is in the frm file.
BTW I split your post from the thread that you originally replied to since it's not a good idea to hijack other people's threads.

You cannot open a VB project in Excel, as it is VBA or Visual Basic for Applications. If you want to mess around with the form (frm) files, you can do it using any editor.

Actually you CAN use the frm file in the Excel VBA IDE, but it takes a little manipulation of the file
first and you need to recreate all the controls in MS Forms 2.0 format, but it can be done.
