KeyBoard
I have just got a new system (an friend of mine gave it to me) I'm going to be running it as a small server,
But there is no keyboard adapter in the mothe baord, not the standard ones anyhows! I could use a USB keyboard but there is a 'round socket' similar to the speaker output, can you geta keyboard with this kind of adapter?
Its a Compaq Ipaq. And Hardware truley isnt my thing so sorry if this sound silly.

Re: KeyBoard
Im confused. You say you got a new system. You talk about motherboard. But then you say its an ipaq? An iPaq is a pocket pc. Certianly not something to run a server on.
Can you clarify please?

Re: KeyBoard
Never heard of it. I was just as confused as Cander there for a while. I have an iPaq, but that is for my palm...
On the first link it says it has a PS2 port for keyboard. Isn't there one on your PC?
IF not, maybe it has that old big one. Not sure what it is called, it looks like a mix between PS2 port and a SVideo port, just bigger. If not, then I think you have to use USB. At least I have never seen a keyboard that fits a 3.5mm jack.
