removing whitespace in word vba

is there a way of removing all the white space from the end of a document? from the last character onwards?

What do you mean "white space"? The page?

if i type one word and run my macro and select the word that is typed ad display it in a msgbox it shows that there is a word and lots of space after it that continues over some lines.
ive tried trim but it doesnt remove it?

They are probably line breaks or paragraphs from pressing enter multiple times. Switch on the paragraph identifer
so you can see them. Then place your cursor at the very end of the doc and backspace until you get to the
one word or what you want to keep.

Ctl+* will toggle the paragraph symbols on and off.
