    Resolved [RESOLVED] Get visual basics 2005 beta version free

    Hi,

    Seams like a few people here don’t have this yet so I thought I would post how and where you can get it free

    To get Visual Basic's 2005 free start off just visit and install the VB.Net 2005 beta version free from here:

    Or download and install it from the file attachment in the message here:

    Your have to be a member on the form to see the file attachment and

    Get the .NET Framework 1.1 too as your need this:

    dont you actually need the 2.0b framework? not the 1.1 framework????

    or is the 1.1 framework needed to run the IDE?

    which versions are actually REQUIRED by 2005 though?? is 1.1 needed along with 2.0b?

    are you sure? when I installed VS.NET 2005 beta it installed 2.0b framework as part of the setup

    Same here, it installed 2.0b with the 2005 beta on mine too. I was certainly under the impression that .NET 2005 required the 2.0 Framework, but I suppose some projects might work OK with 1.1. I definitely think it would be advisable to install 2.0.
