GZ or GZips?

Hi All

Just got to a part where i need to open a .gz file, we have component one C1ZIP but it only supports WZIP files and not GZ.

So a few questions

1)Is there a Free or buy component to open gz's in VB.NET

2)Is there convertor i can use for GZ to ZIP (Changing Extension doesn't work)

3)I believe the file streams are the same but the library is different. Does any know more about this? (Maybe write my own convertor)

This is a hard thing to search for as most book content is zip format so not easy to find information from search engines

Ok, ive downloaded it and added it to my cache, but where do i go from there to be able to use it?
