    Hello,

    1. View source
    2. Get it's name
    3. Browse there
    4. File >> Save As

Or look into your temporary internet files folder.

If you use FFs adblock extension, then you'll most likely see a button next to the flash file giving it's url.

The question isn't "if you use...", it's "who doesn't use...".

You were kind of joking, kind of serious, if my perception is correct. Anyway, I'll reply serious . That only works for certain files... You couldn't do this to the six flags commercial... Obviously I'm not looking to get the commercial because I already have... I just forget/don't have the type of program I used.

AdBlock will list every image, flash, avi, and more link in a page. I'm sure that you could get any link off of a page, and then block it by url.

Why would I want to block it...

My question is no where near blocking it... I want to download it. Like I said, not all websites displays the direct flash file... And, I don't want it just for that. Just video capturing programs that also capture stuff on your desktop.

You also could try to ftp it off the server, or use downloadfromurl to snatch the file. adblock will give you the url to the file.

btw - Downloaded CHROME, a FTP extension for Fx. It works great.

If they dont link straight to it, follow the links in the url.or else check your temp internet folder, all files you view are there

Oooo at last something I can really answer and help out with as I am a professional flash developer

Ok all you need do is follow these steps

View the source code of the page with the flash on it. Get the flash movie src link

    Copy it

Create a web page on your desk top with a standard text link

Set the text link to the src link you copied

Save and run the web page

Right click on the link and use the "Save the target as.." to save the swf movie to your desktop

Then go here and use this program to de-compile the swf back to a flash file

    http://www.*******.com/flashdecompiler/

    Easily done

To protect flash movies from hackers use: http://www.flashincrypt.com/

    Hope this helps

    Cheers

I know what you mean, and my thing should work.

Post an example of a site that doesn't link straight to it so I can show you.
