Re: Microsoft Project 2000
Why did you post this under VBA?
It might be better under GENERAL DEVELOPER.
BTW - Welcome to the Forum...

Re: Microsoft Project 2000
Welcome to the Forums.
I thought there was that already built in? I havent used Project in a few
years, but I remember that you can link the tasks and it could show a sum of
the hours for a task. So it should be similar for the percentage?

Re: Microsoft Project 2000
szlamany - I posted under this becuase I wasn't sure if project had this feature built in or if I had to write code.
RobDog888 - Thanks for your reply I will look into that. I found something similiar to what my client asked that was built it. Under 'Project Statistics' it gives Percent Complete of total Project. He wants me to list this with the Tasks though so it always shows what percent of the project is complete...

Re: Microsoft Project 2000
See if you can tie into that value and add to the main project task or total.

Re: Microsoft Project 2000
I still can't find where I can tie into that value!!!
That is defiently the value that I want. I think I'll have to get a book and read up on this a little. I'll post my results when I figure it out.

Re: Microsoft Project 2000
I'm not too sure a book would cover the exact issue but perhaps a search over at msdn.microsoft.com would
give more specific results
