    Crystal Reports - Complete newbie never used it before

    Hi

    Ok I just got VS.NET 2003 with CR. My question is how do I use it? I have no Idea.. I'm just trying to get to grips with ADO.net as well

    Help!

    I use it almost exclusively with my VB6 apps. You have to create the report using it (accessing your data) and then call it from within your VB app. I can't give you the syntax to call it because I don't use VB.NET and don't know how it changed from VB6. I would assume there is a Help area in the CR that have have links to a tutorial.

    You can get to it from help within the vb.net ide. Just click search and type in "dataset crystal". It will pull up a reference to "Reporting of ADO.net datasets".
