text + image control?

hi! i have been trying to google for this but cannot find much about it
in ASP.NET, is there a control which can display text and images together? But also has the databinding feature?

if not - what is the best way to make a control or whatever that can display and image and text at the same time?

i dnt wanna have to pay for it

what im trying to do is create a forum - like this one, so when i read or enter replies - wherever there is a smiley symbol (colon and closing bracket) i can replace it with the appropriate image, and i just need something that can show text and image together

there much be something in asp.net....surely.....

hehe i think you took it the wrong way
no - im not saying its not possible, it is possible i am very sure - but just interested to see how it will work and im not asking for you to do it either

it's just hard for a newbie web dev to try and program this "forum" to display text and image using different platforms of programming languages - its amazing certainly
