http://www.cobwebz.co.uk
That's a website I'm working on for a client of mine. i was just hoping some of you kind people might drop by it and give me your oppinions of it...?
Any likes, dislikes, additions, suggestions etc that you have I would really like to hear. Let's face it...I'd rather have you lot slag it off than have my client (or her clients!) dislike it.
Anything you think at all...small, large, addition, complete redesign...what ever... I'd appreciate your comments

Matthew way cool
Specially liked the buttons down the bottom. Do you do a lot of this sort of thing for artists. We have just picked up the contract to do a web site for a local ceramics company, and also to do a Sales, Scheduling, and Accounting system for them.
Damn holidays gone again, will spend next week designing the database and getting an ISP for them. They claim they need approx 100 photos on the site...god alone knows how much space this will entitle.

Thanks, Jethro.
It's kinda a special project the client is my mum (aaarh!) an the site was also submitted as the my final piece HNC... I haven't done any other work for artists.
I use http://www.brinkster.com to host my sites... they offer ASP, 60meg (entry) of space, SQL Server DB and loads of COM components for a really cheap ($19.77 AUD per month + another $19.77 AUD if yu want the SQL Server...) price so you might wanna have a look at them.

Hey thanks for that Matthew
Will talk to those guys. Do they also host email and web access which seems to be the standard downunder. Currently am having to give away email accounts on one of our ISPs cos they demand you have six of them regardless, and we don't need six. So far three for the company and three too friends. Weird business.
Hope the site works for your mom, (mum). We will be doing the same sort of thing, posting photos taking orders etc.

Fabulous! It was excellent, however, being a nit-picking
bastard, I have a couple of gripes:
1. Initial letters of names should be physically different
than the other letters. Generally this means the same but
larger. In the Celtic tradition, zoomorphic characters
were used.
2. The left hand bird looks bald. Not bald like Isaac
Hayes, but bald like Benito Mussolini
Great Site!

Thanks...all the artwork on the site was created by my client, but I shall pass it onto her.
I don't think it's nitpicking at all...I did say I wanted any critism you could offer and am greatful for it.
