After a while you might get one, when google decides to let people invite some others.
Every now and then they just give people invitations. Doubt they'll give any out for a while though, at least until most people have used their existing invitations.

Yes! They accepted their invitation and Google sent me 2 emails telling me that they accepted and registered their gmail account and i am sure for this because the invitations are for my brother and my cousin, and i asked them if they created their account and they did! So....what is going on? Did i win more invitations?
Can someone please tell what all the fuss is about GMail?
Sending invitations for an email adress? When I get emails like that I delete them...complete spam.
