Update the no after deleted it
Hi all,
Please help me in the coding. i m a beginner in VB6. I would like to update a number ( which keep the int in an order like : 1, 2, 3, 4,.....) when one of the record is deleted.
For example, a custID can have a few instalment no, I_no ( it keeps the int no as 1, 2, 3, 4, 5). if I_no (3) is deleted, i want the I_no (4) become I_no(3) and I_no(5) become I_no(4) ... it means I_no will become (1, 2, 3, 4).
Please help.
Thanks in advance,
viv

the I_no is used to store the number( 1, 2, 3, 4,.......). If one of these I_no is deleted, i want the next number will replace the deleted number and so on. It means I_no always keep the number in sequent.
Thanks.
