i want to add an icon to my shortcutmenu item. i am able to do it for the shortcutmenu's controls but no for the actual shortcutmenu item itself.

is there any way??

here is my code for it

Set clarpop = ShortCutMenu.Controls.Add("custom", Type:=msoControlPopup)

With clarpop
.Tag = "Litriu"
.Caption = "&Litriú"
.OnAction = "MenuAction"
End With


Also is there any way of making the caption bold??

What version of Office?

I dont think its supported in 2000 but check if you have the .Picture property for the clarpop object.
