    PowerPoster

If you became a PowerPoster -- you'll know this by your new title --
then you will be curious to know what that means.

Bottom line, PowerPosters are members that have earned the right to use a custom title. You'll find this in your User CP.

Be aware though, that while you can customize the text that is in your title, you should be concious of what is appropriate. Violations of the AUP or using titles you know are not appropriate will get you whacked by a moderator or admin

    Brad!

In the CP, press Edit profile, then you will hopefully find it. If not, then give us a "call".

    Brad!
Brad, I thought you become power poster when your postcount goes over 4096 or you are promoted to a moderator. I just noticed that I am a power poster myself!

What is the requirement to be included in this group? Have you lowered the postcount requirement?

    Thanks.

But with the new feature, you can go change your title to "Frenzied PowerPoster" or whatever you want.

I just changed mine today to "SQL PowerPoster" because I eat, sleep, walk, talk SQL - it's starting to take over my regular vocabulary

    COMMIT - now!

Yeah, I goofed and said 2048 instead of 4096. Rather than fix it, we decided to go ahead and leave the setting at 2048. We (speaking for the mods and I) thought there would be a number of people who would appreciate the lower setting!
