a virtual server would probably not have anything on it. Everything would be on a different server. is that what you mean?

you probably need two dsn's as well as two ip addresses. one for the webpage and the other for the game, unless the game was running on a higher port on the webpage. that *may* be posible.

Just to be clear; why do you think you want a virtual server as opposed to just a server?
Nobody knows what software they want until after you've delivered what they originally asked for.

you may be able to make a web server cheap by sacrificing on concurrent users, and features, but you can't have a cheap game server. you have to pay lots of money to host a game, especially as the concurrent user base goes up.

OK, let me re-phrase my question. What do you think the difference is between a virtual server, and a real server? I am just trying to understand more about your intentions.
