    I swear im going to jump off a bridge... does this mean asp.net will become obsloete? I am just now starting to learn asp.net (bought 3 books tonight paid $150.00 for them) - am i reading something wrong?

    it's windows longhorn only. aspx is going to be around for those mac users and unix/flavor. It's the new intranet app.

    I was like XAML *** XML, UDL, XHTML, DHTML, RTF how many of these damn things do I have to learn. Let me guess next I have to learn XRTF oh wait thats ms word.....

    Ok as a new user that still confuses me....

    I finally decided to learn asp.net instead of PhP now I am starting to feel like learning asp.net is pointless...

    Am I waisting my time learning asp.net or should I go learn PhP instead?

    ASP.Net is going to be in use for the next 15 years at least. PHP is umm well I personally think it sucks....... If it wasn't free I imagine no one would use it.....
