What is it?
You must design the interface and code for a children’s text editor.
Three is no restrictions in the number of controls forms or modules you use. We are not setting any minimum requirements because we feel this contest you can make it as simple or complicated as you wish depending on ability and we want to see your creative side come out here
Some Ideas to include are…
- Large buttons and images.
- Simple to use controls and buttons.
- Easily understandable language
Marking
For each submission, there will be a poll attached, so you can rate that specific entry. You will be able to rate each entry on a scale from 1 to 10. The winning entry will be the one with the most points at the end. The total points will come from the addition : 10*Number Of Votes + 9*Number Of Votes + 8*Number Of Votes + etc...
What If My Code Has Problems?
Your entry will be accepted even if it has errors. We will not fix the code you submit. However, it someone would like to fix it and see the application working, it is up to each person.
Where Do I Send My Work?
To submit your work create a new Thread in the Contest Entries Sub-Forum. Please title your Threads "Contest 5, Text Editor - Username", changing Username for your username. Attach a Zip file to the post and include all your source files in it.
What Format Should My Work Be In?
It would be best if you could zip up your project. Also please put it in the root directory of the zip!
Source code only please we cannot accept exe's or any form of compiled code!
Final Note
Please remember that the contests are for fun. Also note that commented code is not required but prefered!
