Anyone know about any? I used to use BurnAtOnce, but I reformated my HDD, and lost it, and was going to download it again, and it doesn't look like the new version has a DVD burning too...

Re: Free DVD Video burning app?
DVD Decrypter can burn most common dvd images.
DeepBurner has a free version (that is somewhat limited, limitations shown at link).
CDBurnerXP CD/DVD Burner, Freeware.
Anythings Free, if you know where to look.

Re: Free DVD Video burning app?
Wow I must have an old version of DVD decrypter. Because my version doesn't have the burn option...
I checked out the free version of DeepBurner earlier today, and it doesn't support video DVD
Never heard of the last one, will check it out if not the new version of DVD decrypter does it all for me.

DVD decryptor just burns images... you still need to create the images using another application.

Re: Free DVD Video burning app?
I might be blind, but I can't see any option in DVD decryptor to just burn a DVD. I can see that I can RIP, and it will probably ask me if I want to burn it afterwards. But that is not what I want. I have some videos from my digital camera I need to be burned as DVD Video.

Ohhhh.....well then I need even an other app... ...or just find an app that will burn my vob files as a Video DVD.
The last app you posted a link to looks like a CD burning tool, and not a DVD burning tool. At least what it says in the description.
CDBurnerXP Pro is an easy to use CD/DVD burning software, that can write CD-R and CD-RW discs. The program can also write disks directly from an ISO image file, and save image as an ISO image file (*.iso). You can create data and audio CDs, and it supports Burn-Proof technology, multi-session disks, import of ISO images and more. In addition to CD burning, you can also rip audio CDs, normalize WAV files, encode MP3 files, erase disks, . CDBurnerXP Pro does not require ASPI when used under for NT/2000/XP.

I use dvd decrypter to decrypt the dvd, then I use dvd shrink to shrink the video so it fits on a regular disc, and last, I use nero to burn it.

Re: Free DVD Video burning app?
I use the two first apps too. But this time I don't need to shrink it, I don't need to rip it, but I need to burn it. And Nero is not free.

I know nero will burn vob files because I've done it before. But, as you said nero is not free. You can always download the trial version of nero and burn what you want and then delete it.

Re: Free DVD Video burning app?
Yeah, actualy I donwloaded an other triel version just to get the job this time. But I still have the camera, and in the future I want to burn more videos. And then I will need an other app just like it. So if anyone know of any free versions it would have been great.
I can't understand that there is so many free apps to burn data DVDs but not video DVDs...

Personally I detest Nero, but DVD Decryptor can burn DVDs. Click Mode, Write ISO (or something like that).

It's not a free OS, so people don't want to write free software for it, either.
If you have VOB files, you probably have IFO files, too... if you don't, maybe there are some ways you can create ones that will cooperate with your multimedia files. Anyway, create a directory structure somewhere with two subdirs, VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS. Copy the vob and ifo files into VIDEO_TS, and you're done - all that's left is to burn, and that can probably be done with CDBurnerXP (first reply).
All contents of the above post that aren't somebody elses are mine, not the property of some media corporation.
(Just a heads-up)

Have you tested this. I am pretty sure I tested it, and that was why I made the post. I even have the names of those two folders on a yellow post-it here on my screen. So I thought that there had to be a diffrence. Will try it again later today if I have the time though.
