Small example
Could anybody give me a small example of how you can add data to text boxes and then add this data to an xml file. I have read around but cannot find an actual example of this. If I could see it working I would be able to develop this furhter to the requirements I need
eg A user adds data to a text box and then click a command button and this will add the info to a xml file.
Thanks

Re: Small example
Well an XML file is just text right so you'd just open it as a normal text file and write it in. The string in the textbox will be in textbox.Text. If you seach for writing to a file there will be plenty examples .

Re: Small example
You asked this same question here. (We don't encourage that). In order to do much with XML you'll need to bite the bullet and look into MSXML.

Re: Small example
between the two of you, you have a heap of code to write xml, both as text files and using the DOM
start putting something together yourself, if you can't make it work post what YOU HAVE done and i am sure someone will help you then. why would someone else write all your projects for you?
just start making your form and putting the text boxes required, opening a file to save your information in and print to it if you want to write it as a text file, or spend more time with the dom sample app if you want to go that way.
