Re: PWS and windows XP
I went through hell trying to install IIS on XP Home Edition before I came to the following conclusions:
1. You'll find a "workaround" for this floating around on the Internet, but it just doesn't seem to work out. It's no use.
2. The other way is to get Apache and then install Chillisoft ASP, but that'll cost you.
3. Not including IIS with XP Home Edition is the absolute worst decision ever made since somebody decided to slice bread.

I bought XP Pro specifically so I could run IIS. What a pain.

That'd require you to dual boot. Do a search on dual boot windows xp 98 and you should get loads of info on it. Or post in the General PC forum.

I saw a link yesterday showing how to use IIS on XP Home. Involved loading it off of a W2K CD, and changing a few things. Didn't try it, but my buddy might be attempting it. I'll post back if he gets it going.
