Re: Fm Radio Software
you can plug a radio into the line-in jacks, or you can listen to web casts that some stations have, but a PC is NOT an FM radio. I've never heard of a card that is an FM tuner. I have heard of TV tuners, but that is it.

Re: Fm Radio Software
Many TV cards are both TV and FM tuners. We still sell them. BUt I don't know why, because most radiochannels (at least here in Norway) is on the net, and everyone (or at least 95% over here) has broad band.
Well in the end then. You need a tuner to get FM radio. SOmething I don't think only software can do.

Re: Fm Radio Software
If you don't have a FM Tuner, how are you going to receive the FM signals to be able to play in some radio software?
You need to have some sort of radio tuner conected (whether it be an internal FM/TV Tuner or a USB FM Tuner) to be able to play regulat radio.

Re: Fm Radio Software
Not Me's suggestion about getting a TV/FM tuner video card is probably the best choice because there
are still allot of stations that dont broadcast over the net. So if receiving a particular station
that is not on the net a necessity then get the card.
Too bad there wasnt a card that you could get that could receive XM or Sirus satellite stations.

You can do that by buing a tuner, and a satelite dish, then from the Radio Antenna plug on the back of the Tuner you can glug that on to the Media Card. At least that works in Norway. Did it when I lived with my parents a few years back.

Re: Fm Radio Software
Sounds like allot just to hear radio! I was thinking more like the way they have the portable XM tuner
that can go from your car XM radio to a boombox type radio, etc. The little unit pops out (about the size
of an audio cassette) and you can pop it into another player.
