Scheduled task
I have a scheduled task on a Windows 2000 Server that doesn't start. It was working when we had our LAN set with a Workgroup, but we changed to a domain and we're getting this error now:
The attempt to log on to the account associated with the task failed, therefore, the task did not run. The specific error is :
0x8007052e : Logon failure : Unknown user name or bad password.
Verify that the task's Run-as name and password are valid and try again.
Anyone got an idea?

Re: Scheduled task
Did you try going to the task's properties (Control Panel - Scheduled Tasks - right-click - Properties) and resetting the password?

VBForums is one place, but for the really important stuff ... here's a clue 1Tim3:15

Re: Scheduled task
Thanks, it is working now.
The user was Server\username and it has to be domain name\username

Re: Scheduled task
Lol, I've seen this many times. In Windows 98, everybody complained the error messages didn't tell you anything. Windows 2000 + have all these good error messages that tell you the problem, and noone reads them lol
I use Microsoft Visual Basic 2005. (Therefore, most code samples I provide will be based around the .NET Framework v2.0, unless otherwise specified)
