Hi All,

We have an App written in Vb6. Data is stored in flat files on a server and is read via the app on the client using standard Vb6 flat file open closing etc.

With the above fix removed from XP, the application performs fine, but when we install the above fix, data takes a good 2 minutes to be retrieved. we can replicate the problem on a test network.

Has anybody any ideas why the above fix might be causing this problem.
