Cprogramming.com doesn't explain some thngs well. I understand everything up to pointers...I understand function, the basics etc. But I can't make out what their tutorials are saying now. Does anyone have some further readng (I don't have much money for a book at the moment).

Well linked lists and binary trees aren't really something you learn for the language, they're general algorithms.
Steve, you're using C not C++ are you? Look at classes if you're using C++, they're not that complicated unless you want them to be
Kedaman's been reading some good tutorials, I don't know where though.... I'll see if I can find out.

Oh yes that gives me some ideas for things to learn - dynamic memory allocation and overloading functions. If you're using C++ you can use function templates too.

writing software in C++ is like driving rivets into steel beam with a toothpick.
writing haskell makes your life easier:
reverse (p (6*9)) where p x|x==0=""|True=chr (48+z): p y where (y,z)=divMod x 13
To throw away OOP for low level languages is myopia, to keep OOP is hyperopia. To throw away OOP for a high level language is insight.
