Prince Harry
[moan]
Poor guy, he's 20 years old and wants to have some fun. Can't people just get off his back. I'm sure Charles and Diana didn't ask the sperm and egg involved in his creation whether or not they would like be a prince

Re: Prince Harry
Think it's ever going to sink in that he's a member of the royal family? You'd think that someone there would have said something to him, you know, regarding the photographers?

Re: Prince Harry
It would have been mitigated a bit if he had chosen to wear the whole Nazi officer's uniform, at least then it would have been historically accurate, and this would have been mildly more acceptable. As it was the focus was on the swastica (sp?) and nothing else.
Maybe he has enlisted with the Waffen SS during his Year-Out.
I don't live here any more.

Re: Prince Harry
DO WE CARE
He's 20 years old, he's young and doesn't necessarily think of the consequences of his actions. He did something, which in heindsight was probably not a good idea and he apologised. Apology accepted ... end of story.
Why make all his fuss? The truth is he makes this country look alot better than it actually is, becuase most people his ages, are jobless drug addicts with 5 year old kids, living off state benefits. I reiterate my point that he never asked to be a prince, his mum is dead, his dad is dating an ugly women and he's constantly been chased by the media, who have nothing better to do than label a prince a threat to national security becuase he wore a Nazi costume to a fancy dress party.
I really think that says something about the maturity of the people that live in the UK

Yes - and for much more important reasons than this press silliness. I'd much prefer to be a citizen than a subject.

Re: Prince Harry
In the UK it is Prime Minister, which would be the president here?
He would have to kill his brother to be the king right?

I don't think they'd let him e king if he killed his brother. He'd be tried for treason.

Re: Prince Harry
Harry has obviously been hanging around with his grandfather recently.
I still can't believe someone didn't suggest that maybe, just maybe, wearing a swastika might not be a great idea.
This photo probably explains why he likes to hit people with cameras.

Effectively the Prime Minister IS president because the royal family are just figure-heads, they no longer have any power over the government.
Yes, Harry is NOT going to be king unless Wills kicks the reverbial bucket. If Lizzy II dies when William is in his 30s then it is likely that Charles will abdicate giving the throne to William because Charles would only have a few years in him anyway.
Personally though I would rather the royal family be dissolved and any money made from the auctioning of their lands, assets and money goes straight to charity. At least then the money will be used for some good.
