    IE infected when using FireFox

    i havent been using IE in a long time, but i just browsed a warez site and it made firefox automaticly download a file, which happened to be a IE toolbar. i removed the tool bar but i was wondering if this has happened to any one else?

    Personally, I have never had that problem nor has anyone I know... Although I would adjust your download settings to "Ask me where to download every file".

    the thing, it is, i only noticed because it was download a file from a strange location,in the status bar, from something like toolbar.xxx.com. I looked at the code and it was just a javascript. Strange, anyway posted on the firefox forum so maybe they already know about it.

    As that first guy said, you should set the option to ask, at least for all file formats that is not zip, rar, and so on.
