    Written some VB code...Need people to test my LiveUpdate code.

    I have written a LiveUpdate module for VB6 apps.
    This works like XP AutoUpdate and/or Symantecs Norton Anti Virus LiveUpdate.

    I would be really greatful if some of you could test it and give me feedback.

    I'm about to test it.

    I installed the .NET so didn't see a point for Visual Studio. (VB6, Visual C++, etc)

    Soon enough.

    Autoupdate kind of "froze" before it dumped some files in the folder where the demo***.exe was.


    The web update downloaded some stuff on C:\ and the wizard did somehing, but have no idea what it did...

    Froze?

    It simulates Norton Anti Virus LiveUpdate app.
    The apps you see installed are made up. They are added using the demo app. What you do is use vbLiveUpdate in your own apps so they can update themselves via the web if you ever release any updates.

    The files on your server, and the apps "installed" are made up...however, it does download files, but they are renamed jpegs.

    No no no...the Norton looking thingy worked smooth....but the auto thingy, the button over it, did just hanf for some seconds, and then dumped some files. Isn't that supposed to happen?


    BTW which other server then my server are you using?
