Everything that has a computer in will fail. Everything in your life, from a watch to a car to, you know, a radio, to an iPhone, it will fail if it has a computer in it. They should kill the people who made those things.- 'Woz'

What roles do you play as a moderator?

As a Moderator I keep check on the forums I'm allocated to. This includes stuff like helping people if they are having trouble with the forum, aswell as dealling with any trouble that arises. Generally if someone is breaking the AUP, for example if someone is spamming a forum with loads of Threads just to advertise there new product, I'd be responsible to delete those threads and take any appropriate action.
As a Super Moderator as I am now this means aswell as the Forums I am allocated to I am able to have moderator privligages on all the different sections on this site aswell as some other features. So that means I am able to Moderate any of the section which don't have a moderator and also step in on the other forums where the Moderator isn't on-line at that time and the issue needs dealing with there and then .
