Arrow The Tsunami Appeal - The Aftermath

    Hello,

I'm sure none of you need or want reminding of the terrible devastation casused by the Tsunami in Asia just under a few weeks ago.

As you may know, the initial response of funding was described as 'overwhelming' amongst other things. Whilst this initial donation was valuable - the real work starts here..

As countries, we have the money and resources, we must now put the logisitics into place in order to carry out the building and constructing both physically and of the lives of the affected people.

However, don't think that no more money is needed - it is , and desperately, so I would urge you to consider donating again if you already have, or for the first time if you have not yet donated.

You can click here for a full list of organisations to whom your money will be used constructively and with emphasis on long-term re-construction

It is with this help and world-wide co-operation that the victims of the Tsunami can be brought some sense of Justice and meaningful prospects.

    Thankyou,

    Jordan

On the news there was a guy from Carlisle (sp?) who escaped from the Tsunami. When he got home there was more serious flooding there too (with fatalities). That's gotta suck.

    MMmmmwaaaaaaaaa

Is she the hottest bird ever or what?

Michaela Strachan and Phillippa Forrester (when she was presenting Tomorrow's World) come in close second and third.

Also that broad that presents "Motorsport Mundial" on Five looks like a bit of a go'er.

Well, firstly - i'm not from Google
    Neither am I a GoogleBot...........
    .......or am I?

On a more serious note, its interesting that a Tsunami thread has turned into some kind of "who do you fancy?" thread.

    Anyway,

    Keep up the nice donations

    Regards,

    Jord

    That's blokes for ya!
However, as we pointed out a large thread is ongoing in the World Events section as it influences the entire world.
On a related point, do you notice how the atrocities in Iraq have stopped now that Bin Laden isn't getting any TV coverage.....interesting
