Smile So long England, and thanks for all the fish and chips

I'm heading back home in a couple hours. Just wanted to say thanks for the vacation, the confusing London underground, the expensive bus rides, the amazing Old World charm, Stonehenge, the wonderful tourist spots, the history of the place, the overpriced food items everywhere, Christmas, the lack of Mountain Dew, the fact that hardly anyone in London speaks English, the pretty girls, the beautiful architecture, the vast amounts of copper coins that mysteriously accummulate in your pocket towards the end of the day, chips being called crisps, french-fries being called chips, the confusion of it all, the beer (mainly Carlsberg and Guinness), the fish and chips, the arrogant stuck up snobs that walk around near Trafalgar Square, the cold winds, the gloomy rains, the keyboards with certain keys in the wrong places, the reactions I'd have at center being spelt centre and color being spelt colour, and the amusement provided by the national obsession with David Beckham and Victoria Beckham and the Royal Family.

Not sure, I've not been to those places myself. If you wanted to get rid of the overpriced stuff the further north you go the cheaper stuff gets . Hence me being all the way up here .

P.S. you know those Question marks in your Sig are not recognised by IE

I also use 'Color' every time now. Can't avoid it in .net.

I am mortally offended that you didn't come to Derby (Englands real capital city). But at least you were never subjected to Birmingham. That would have been too horiffic for a non english person I think. I have been to Birmingham about 5 times now and each visit contrives to be more unpleasant than the last. I was stabbed in the arm by a crackhead with a flick-knife on New Street in 2003 and I haven't been since. Nothing serious in the end, phew!

Although that is nothing compared to Luton.

The city centre is OK, if you want to get in a fight real easily, just walk into a pub in Bulwell and... well, not and anything, just wait.

You will find they serve watered down beer in plastic cups so you won't be able to cut anyone's face off (spoilsports!). My dad's side of the family come from round that area so my face is known and I can even get away with staring at Medium Dave's girlfriend.

Bodwad lives in Notts so he'll be able to vent a wider opinion on it.

I agree with noteme, I've never seen such bad "bloody hell" teeth that the women in england have. I'd be scared to get a kiss.

Some girls in London are REALLY fit but they are often foreign tourists

Nottingham is best avoided Saturday night. Go Fridays if you want a good night. The town center is ok but dont go outside it unless you know where you are going. And dont argue just for a challenge because it will end up in a fight even if you are joking

3 women to every one man but on 1 out of 6 is every worth looking at because most of the others are pregnant or have been pregnant at 14 and are now (at 21) looking for their fifth child from a new father

Next time go to Scotland, Ireland or Wales. Much nicer places.
For a start the drinks are a lot cheaper here £1.30 a pint
    (I think that's about $2.20)

Also, next time come to Britain during the six nations competition, (Feb - Mar) and I guarantee you will have fun
