Leaders:
What is the diffrence of the leaders. It looks like there is two moderator classes. And what is the diffrence on a super moderator and an administrator?

Ohh...and an administrator like "hcrye" : http://vbforums.com/member.php?u=53094 has 4 posts, but it is not possible to find those posts. Is there something wrong with the counter, or does the posts in the mod forums also count, so they are there, but I can't find them?

Re: Leaders:
Posts in mod forum count as do some of the other private forums.
Moderators and Super moderators are the main people who work on the site each day. They are the ones that help to keep things running smoothly and in line. The only noteable difference between mods and supermods is that a supermod has permissions that let them do things in most forums, where as a mod is generally assigned to specific forums. Over the coming months we expect a few of the mods to be promoted into supermod positions.
Admins come in a variety of flavors
There are three "types" of admins to note. Admins have additional access to the forum. Most of the people listed as admins are Jupitermedia people that may need to access the forum in order to make a fix or change. This includes a number of Jupitermedia developers and the Jupitermedia Editor-in-Chief (Gus). For the most part, these people are not regulars at the forum, but if we need them to do something, they need full access (and it is probably something urgent so we don't want to have to wait to get them access).
There is then me. I'm an admin a pretty much the site manager. As you've seen, I change settings, make tweaks to the templates, and do just about anything that needs to be done.
The third admin "type" is MartinLiss. I'm not here every day so I wanted to have a backup that would have access to be able to help when needed. MartinLiss had done a great job and has been around forever (or close to forever), so he was given admin status as my backup. MartinLiss has admin priveledges so he can do things such as ban at the IP level, find out more confidential information should we need to dig into an issue, and make quick changes to a lot of the basic stuff should I not be around.
MartinLiss also oversees the moderators and supermoderators in that he is now responsible for assigning them to forum areas and such.
There is another person coming on board that will be an admin as well. This is Dunsel (who is listed as a super moderator when this was written). Dunsel just started with Jupitermedia this week. He will be the Forum Manager for all 29 forums for Jupitermedia. As such, he will be able to help with changes to the overall forum and he will become the vBulletin expert for Jupitermedia (I hope ). With 29 different forums to be responsible for, I'm guessing he won't be here a lot, but he will be around to help when needed.
I think this answers your question. Of course, I reserve the right to change any of what I said...

Re: Leaders:
Yeah you more or less answered everything I asked about ++. Even if I still don't get the idea of having one list of Moderators, and then an other list of moderators withour You and Marty on (at the link I posted). But thats an other story.
I can see Dunsel is online now. So hello, and congrats on your job.

Re: Leaders:
The page you linked to is automatically generated by the forum software. I can control -- to some extent -- what groups display and don't display, otherwise, it is what it is

Re: Leaders:
Well ok. Then I won't make more fuzz about it. THis thread is resolved.
And just as a side comment. Megatron came back just before christmas after a few years away. And now Hack made his first posts after nearly 3 years. Looks like the forum is up and running again.

Re: Leaders:
Im not quite sure if i understand this correctly. NoteMe is referring to the almost identical moderator and moderators tables? What's the use of the third table?

Re: Leaders:
The first table lists the forums and the moderators for each. The following three tables simply list three different "Groups" -- admins, mods, and supermods. I could also add PowerPosters or any other user group to this page.
To answer your question differently -- the first table lists forums and their moderators (whcih may be admins/mods/supermods). The third table list the people who are moderators.
