what do I do with a dll file?
hello,
I have DLLs that I need to use in my project.
the question is: what do I do with them?
where do I install them? and how?
and what do I need to do so that the end-user will also have them on his pc
for the use of my app?
thanks

Run the Package and Development wizard and it will walk you through all of the options for making your app into a set up file, including asking you which files should be included.

To use the dlls ...
Open VB to a standard exe project. Then click Project > References...
Then browse to where you have the dll and select it and click Ok.
Then you can see the methods and functions available to you in your project
by using the Object Browser (F2).

dekelc,
You need to create an installer package. There are many to choose from and a few are free. Some will do most of the work for you.
