I wanted to start learning ASP . I have three pc's I wanted to set up NT so I can run IIS . I haven't got the foggiest idea how to configure the network . I have networked 95/98 machines but this is diffrent . Do I set up NT as a primary domain controler or a stand alone server ? If you can help I'd appreciate it .

You'd have to set it up as a primary domain controller. But what configuration problems are you having?

You don't have to have IIS installed to learn ASP. You can use Personal Web Server which is FREE. You can run it on Win95/98 just to learn ASP. You can find Personal Web Server on Windows98 CD or Visual Studio 6.0 CD #2
Just search for PWS.
Good luck.

If you use Windows2000 Proffesional, then it is still based on PWS, just with IIS shell. It means that you are limited to 10 connections at a time (which shouldn't be a problem for learning).
