    Implementing vb appl

    Dear sir,
    I made one appl on vb6 .my system is Windows xp Service pack 2. I made the Setup pgm through my system. when I run the prog. on another comp which has windows xp Service pack 1, but i Could n't run the setup prog.
    What is The Soln.

    AHMEDSULAIMAN,

    More info is needed. What happens when you attempt to run your setup? Give Error messages etc... What are you using to create the setup?

    While running the setup file on client machine, it gives the error message as
    Some system files are out of date information.

    AHMEDSULAIMAN,

    This is an ongoing problem with PDW that will probably never be corrected properly. You can search the forum for the solution (many have had it). I would suggest moving to an updated installer (PDW hasn't been updated since 1998).

    Try using ********** in conjuction with Inno Setup or one of the other free installer packages. You will save yourself a lot of time in the future.
