Setting download directory in IIS and NT

    Hello,

I have a dedicated server I lease for my sites running Windows 2000 and IIS. I know how to add web sites to it and folders within it. But I want to have a folder with some exe files to download from my web page. I have gone in the properties for the folder and exe and they are set to Read. But when I click to download the file, it says page cannot be found.

Does anyone know how to set this right?

    Thanks!

Check your links to the file.
post your local file structure eg. C:\Inetpub\Website\ect, and
the link ur using on the page
    Tips:
    • Google is your friend! Search before posting!
    • Name your thread appropriately... "I Need Help" doesn't cut it!
    • Always post your code!!!! We can't read your mind!!! (well, at least most of us!)
    • Allways Include the Name and Line of the Exception (if one is occuring!)
    • If it is relevant state the version of Visual Studio/.Net Framwork you are using (2002/2003/2005)
