    VB .Net... why two forums?

Right now there are two VB .Net forums, one under the .Net group and one under the Visual Basic group. From what I can see they are separate. Is there really a need for this. It might be good to merge them into one forum. Of course, both links can be kept, but would be linked to the one united forum.

    Just a suggestion.

Last time I checked, the one under .NET was just a link to the other one.
I use Microsoft Visual Basic 2005. (Therefore, most code samples I provide will be based around the .NET Framework v2.0, unless otherwise specified)

Re: VB .Net... why two forums?

Seems I didnt check. I noticed the different statistics for the two.

The one in VB sais 16,702 threads; 77,476 posts and 12 Viewing (currently)
while the one in .Net sais 1 thread; 1 post and 0 viewing

So that is why I assumed there were two different forums.

Yeah. I saw that as well. It really looks like two different forums.

I think we don't need the link one. Though I don't see it myself, since I've made the frontpage compact for myself.

It's linked because it falls under two categories I'd say. It's a .NET language and some people may just go straight to that, but it also falls under the other category.
