Ehh... logging out?
Why can't I log out? I can close, but not log out to let a friend get on...

You should go to a different Web Page (non-VBForums) and then from your browser, clear your cookies. Alternatively -- if you know how -- you can delete all VBForums cookies.
It appears that there may be a cookie left over from the previous version of this site that needs to be cleared.

Re: Ehh... logging out?
What about clicking the "Log Out" link at the top right corner of the forums pages?
That should bring up a messagebox asking if you want to log out. If you say
yes then it will clear your cookies.

Re: Ehh... logging out?
I just noticed a problem, if I use IE and goto the www.vb-forums.com domain and log in it logs me out straight away. I chnaged it to www.vbforums.com and it works.
In FF Both www.vb-Forums.com & www.vbforums.com work fine.
I like the gray out effect you get in IE when you click the log out button, pitty its an IE only thing .

Yes, its a nice feature. Its similar to XP's log out screen.

In some cases, people may have leftover cookies that don't get cleared that are from the previous version of the forum. In this case, thelogout button may not work until you've used the browser to clear cookies.
So -- if the logout button doesn't work, the first thing to try is clearing cookies manually. The logout button should then work from that point forward.
