Resolved e-mail clients: download message text only?

I was wondering if e-mail clients such as Outlook, Eudora, etc have the capability to retrieve messages from the server, but just the body text without the attached files. I couldn't find it in the help files.

I know it sounds crazy but I have a curious situation.

I have a fast Internet connection on a computer from which I check for new mail by directly navigating to my e-mail provider's web page. Due to company policy they won't configurate an e-mail client in this pc for my current provider, which is NOT the company I work for. And I just can't bypass their proxies.

So I checked for mail today and found a message I want to keep for future reference. In a case like this what I would do is use my laptop with dialup internet access and download that message. The problem is it has an attachment of about 18 Mb that I have already downloaded on the first (fast-connection) computer, so I just want to retrieve the text.

Does that make sense? I know it doesn't, but still I have to find a way around without drawing the boss' attention to me when the phone bills are checked on.

Just foward the message to your dialup address, but delete the
    attachment before you presss send.

Yes, but if you foward it to yourself (different subject) without
the attachment you will preserve the original email just in case
you need or want to download it again.

(Btw both addresses are the same though that should not be relevant)

You can do that -delete the attachment before sending- with an e-mail client but I can't when I handle my e-mail directly in the web site of my provider and use the "forward" option. Of course I can copy the text to a new message and send it to myself, but then the original sender does not appear as such.
