Thread: Connecting from workstation in a LAN to my PC

    Is it possible to connect to a PC without going through the internet but via local telephone lines,ie by entering my phone number,from a workstation in a LAN? In that way i don't need to pay for the telephone call. I don't know if it's possible at all.

    Nope. You might want to try getting some network cards and ethernet cable though. It'd be much better than connecting through the Internet using a VPN or something.
